Chase owns the neighboring apple orchard and agrees to share his lake with the camp. He catches Eden stealing an apple from one of his trees and is enchanted. Because she has been biten before, Eden recoils from his interest in her as though he was the porverbial snake in the garden. His pursuit of her is aggresive and chauvinistic at times, but how else is he to break through her walls and teach her to love and trust again?
