Reviews:
"A "beach read" is low on my rating scale. It means that the book can be entertaining despite flaws. On a beach, who cares about flaws in a text - it is the atmosphere of the beach that is important. I would not recommend this work for bedtime reading for Louisiana residents because the flaws can be irritating - irritation is not conducive to relaxation or sleep. Fans of Nora Roberts will find that this is not one of her best works. But if you are a fan, you should read it so that you can continue to say you have read all of her works."

"To Roberts's credit, the plot takes some twists as it moves along that make it more interesting than this cliched setup would suggest. Her writing is clean and encourages plowing through the chapter breaks."
